i make. you wear it.

There are fashion designers, and then there is Rachel Burke, a Brissy fashion designer who wears her heart on her sleeve – quite literally. Rachel is the creator of i make. you wear it., a fund-raising fashion project dedicated to give abused or neglected children in Australia a better life.

In an effort to raise AU$25,000 for NAPCAN (National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect), Rachel pushes herself to achieve a goal that extends far beyond personal gain. Every Saturday evening from August 7 through to January 1 2011, she will devote 2-3 hours to make a dress for a lady to wear on her night out. It’s girls like Rachel who definitely deserves a shout-out! So give a little, show your support by donating and spreading the word.
